LEGAL / DATA DELETION

User Data Deletion

Follow these instructions to remove a connected source or request deletion of personal data associated with your getMetrics account.

Effective July 23, 2026

1. Disconnect a connected source

If you can sign in to getMetrics, you can remove a connection for Facebook Ads, Facebook Pages, Instagram Insights, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, YouTube, TikTok Ads, TikTok Organic, or LINE Ads directly:

  1. Sign in at getMetrics.
  2. Open the organization that owns the connection.
  3. Go to Connections.
  4. Expand the relevant data source and locate the connected identity.
  5. Select the Disconnect action and confirm the deletion.

Disconnecting removes the connection, its encrypted credentials, discovered or selected source resources, and connector configurations tied to that connection from the active getMetrics database.

2. Request account or organization data deletion

If you cannot sign in, or you want to delete more than one connection, email privacy@getmetrics.me from the email address associated with your getMetrics account. Use the subject “getMetrics data deletion request” and include:

  • The email address associated with your getMetrics account.
  • The organization name, if applicable.
  • The connected source, identity, and resources you want removed.
  • Whether you want a connection, your account, or an entire organization deleted.

Never send access tokens, passwords, client secrets, or other credentials by email. We may ask you to verify your identity and authority over an organization before completing the request.

3. Revoke access at the source

You may also revoke getMetrics access from the security, connected-app, or authorized-app settings provided by the relevant source. This may include Meta, Google, TikTok, LINE, or another supported provider.

Revoking access at the source prevents future API access but may not automatically remove information already held by getMetrics. To ensure that data is removed from getMetrics, also disconnect the connection or submit the deletion request described above.

4. What we delete

Depending on the scope of your verified request, deletion may include:

  • OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, API credentials, or other secrets stored as encrypted ciphertext.
  • Connected-source identity, authorization scopes, and connection metadata.
  • Selected advertising accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts, analytics properties, Search Console sites, YouTube channels, TikTok identities, LINE Ads accounts, and other source-resource references.
  • Data-source and connector configurations tied to the deleted connection.
  • Connector sessions or access credentials tied to a deleted account or organization.
  • Profile, membership, and organization records when an account or organization is deleted.

getMetrics does not retain customer performance results as a permanent reporting warehouse by default. Short-lived query cache entries expire automatically according to the applicable cache policy.

5. Processing time and retained records

We generally aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. A longer period may be required when permitted by law, when the request is complex, or when additional identity or organization verification is necessary.

Limited records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup recovery. Operational records retained for these purposes do not contain plaintext OAuth credentials. Backup copies are removed according to the applicable backup-retention schedule.

6. Additional instructions for Meta users

You may remove getMetrics from your Facebook account:

  1. Open Facebook Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Apps and websites.
  3. Find getMetrics and select Remove.

Removing the app revokes future access to the Facebook or Instagram resources authorized through that Meta identity. To delete associated records from getMetrics, also complete Section 1 or Section 2 above.

7. Contact and related policies

For questions about deletion, contact privacy@getmetrics.me. You can also review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
